Now Accepting Bids: East Fork/South Fork Coquille River Water Quality Improvement Project

The Coos Soil and Water Conservation District is now accepting bids for construction of the East Fork/South Fork Coquille River Water Quality and Riparian Restoration Project. This project includes restoration work at three private landowner sites in the East Fork and South Fork Coquille River watersheds. Work includes invasive blackberry removal, installation of approximately 22,300 feet of livestock exclusion fencing, construction of five off-channel livestock watering systems, and planting of more than 18 acres of native riparian vegetation to improve water quality, enhance fish habitat, and protect municipal drinking water sources. A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held July 16, 2026, and sealed bids are due July 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Contractors may bid on one, multiple, or all three project sites. See the Request for Bids below for complete project details, specifications, and submission requirements.
