Coos SWCD was at the Coos County Fair from July 24th - 28th. The Coos SWCD booth was in the Natural Resources Tent near the floral exhibits. Other organizations in the tent include ODFW's aquarium full of fish, local Forestry Dept., The Weed Board and local Watershed Associations. Our booth handed out approximately 240 informative handouts. We also had roughly 40 land owners who are interested in doing a project on their land. We have a plethora of information on Farming, Ranching, Forestry, Livestock, and fish habitat. Are you thinking about a project on your property?? Perhaps you could use some more information on how to, or financial help.
