05/11/2011, Three New Coos SWCD Directors as of March 24, 2011
As the district was unable to fill three director seats during the November Election the district decided to advertise for new directors to fill the three vacant seats: Zone 2, Zone 5, and an at large-2. After having several qualified people for the At-Large Director seat the board made its final decision at the February Regular Meeting. The New Directors are: Zone 2: Tom Forgatsch, a geologist and cranberry grower who lives close to Bandon. Zone 5: Brennan Corbett, a lifetime rancher on Dement Creek. At-Large 2: Mark Villers, a Stream Restoration Specialist for Blue Ridge Timber Cutting, Inc.
